About the Sail-Loft

The cottage is arranged on three floors as follows;


The front door entrance leads into a large reception hall with two double bedrooms each with a TV, a shower room with basin and WC and a utility room, all leading off the hall. The utility room contains the combination hot water and heating boiler, two coat racks, washing/drying machine, internal washing line and drying space with ironing board and iron


An open tread staircase leads from the reception hall up into the very spacious lounge/diner/kitchen. The three large picture windows give extensive views of the harbour and West Looe beyond.

The comfortably furnished lounge includes an electric fire, flatscreen colour television with Freesat channels and Wi Fi.
The dining area contains a table with six chairs and a side board. A breakfast bar separates the dining area from the kitchen.

The kitchen comprises an electric cooker and grill with separate gas hob, microwave, a large fridge with freezer compartment, well stocked crockery and utensils and plenty of spare cupboards.


An open tread staircase leads from the lounge area into the loft.
This floor, with three large sky lights, is arranged entirely as a twin bedded, en-suite bedroom. The en-suite shower room contains a tiled shower with glazed surround, wash hand basin with shaver point and WC. From the bedroom, French doors lead onto a balcony with wrought iron safety railings and open views over the harbour. A light and sunny room with TV, a joy to wake up in and to watch the busy harbour come to life. Why not sit out on the balcony, watch the sun set and enjoy a glass of wine


All bed linen is provided, gas central heating is also available out of season or when the weather turns chilly. An adjacent store, separate to the cottage, is available to store refuse and is suitable to store any beach toys, inflatable boats, crabbing nets, cycles etc.


Two small Co-op supermarkets in the main street caters for general grocery needs, for larger supermarkets, Morrisons at Liskeard (approx 20 mins by car) or Waitrose in Saltash (approx 30 mins) are the nearest.. West Looe has a Spar & Londis the latter with a well stocked delicatessen.


There are a wide variety of food and drink purveyors in the town too numerous to mention. Within a 100 yards of the Sail Loft you can choose from Dave’s Diner Fish ‘n Chips, the Salutation Inn for a good pub meal with wine or traditional Cornish ales or The Old Sail Loft Restaurant to sample the fresh fish landed daily in Looe.
